Aged in American Oak casks and finished in Claret Red Wine this single malt is of exceptional character with soft fruit, creamy fudge sweetness and oak spice. Nose Fresh and fruity, peach, pear and red apples with rose floral notes. Taste Burst of strawberry, peach and lime citrus leads into creamy fudge and light biscuit sweetness. Finish Long with lingering oak spice and soft smoke.

The first site of the former Loch Lomond distillery dates back to 1814, sited at the north end of Loch Lomond near Tarbet (known as Tarbat).Sadly in the old days relatively few paper records were kept and the closing date of this distillery remains unclear.
