Transcontinental Rum Line 5 Year Old 2014. This rum was distilled in 2014 in Queensland, Australia from fermented molasses in 100% pot still. This bottle is a blend of two rums of the same age. The first was distillery-aged for 3 years in ex-bourbon cask with an additional 2 years in ex-Cognac foudre in France (+2 years rested in stainless steel). The second part was aged 5 full years in Australia. These two 5-Year rums were blended and married to produce this reference.
